They say it takes a village to raise a child. We believe it takes a city to raise one with disability. We bring together everyone who cares for children and youth with disability (CWD) and those who wish to start supporting them.

We create platforms for individuals and organizations to share their time, skills and resources with these children and youth. We envision a supportive community which understands, accepts, and celebrates everyone's uniqueness and similarities as well as capabilities and possibilities.

Special Achievers is a non-profit, non-stock and non-government organization. We believe in children and youth with disability. We want to help them go beyond their handicaps by focusing on their strengths and passions. We want to see children and youth with disability lead happy and productive lives.

The NGO was founded by three occupational therapists Entezar E. Abdulwahid, Karen Ann A. Navarro, and Dianna Cristine J. Salonga and speech therapist Danielle Joanne C. Raymundo and supported by over 200 volunteers.
